The House League is dedicated to cultivating and developing players in the sport of Ice Hockey. Our focus is on improving a player’s fundamental hockey skills using USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM) in an atmosphere that promotes good sportsmanship, with an emphasis on having FUN.

Click the link for more information on USA Hockey’s ADM : https://www.admkids.com/

Each House League player will be required to have a current USA Hockey number. You can register here: https://membership.usahockey.com/

The House League session will run from mid-August through the

first week of March 2023 and will include 26 practice sessions (game count may be slightly less.) Instead of 8 week sessions, the continuity of one season will allow for the coaches to build a plan to maximize player development. Each player has one practice/development session and one game per week (with the exception of holidays or other days where ice is not available due to arena conflicts.) For this season we are planning to schedule scrimmages with other House League in Florida teams to be played in our arena and will travel to other arenas for scrimmages against their teams.

There are two House League groups: U8/U10/U12s and U14/U16/U18s. Each group will have separate practice times and different game days.

The U8/U10/U12 House League players will have their practice/development sessions on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00pm and games will be on Saturdays from 10:00-11:00am.

The U14/U16/U18 House League players will have their practice on Wednesdays from 7:15-8:15pm and games will be on Sundays from 8:15- 9:15am.

When there are Sunday time conflicts due to SFHL travel hockey games, the games will be played on Sundays from 7:45-8:45am.
