GM/Head Coach USPHL Premier frank.gilberti@dmesports.com | 973-906-1897 Frank Gilberti is a three time State Championship winning coach with over 13 years of experience coaching Junior, AAA, youth and high school hockey. In 2012 Frank was the youngest head coach in the history of New Jersey hockey to guide a public school team to a State Championship. Later that year Frank was named the New Jersey Star Ledger and Daily Record Coach of the Year. Frank is the youngest coach to ever to receive both of these honors in the same year.  After winning his second state championship in 2012 and winning the NJYHL State Championship in 2014, Frank was hired as the Assistant Coach of the New Jersey Rockets EHL Premier team in 2015-2016 and contributed to all facets of hockey operations. In 2017-2018 Frank coached in the USPHL NCDC as an assistant. In his first season coaching the Swamp Rabbits, Frank lead DME to a Florida Division Championship, posting a record of 30-11-3. The Swamp Rabbits finished the 2018-2019 season as the top team in Florida and the  #9 overall team in the nation. During his career Frank has worked closely with multiple players that have been nominated for the Hobey Baker Award as College Hockey’s top player. Frank currently holds a level 4 USA Hockey coaching certificate and is working towards his level 5 Master of Coaching.  Throughout his career Frank has a successful track record of winning, developing, promoting and advancing players onto Collegiate and Professional Hockey.

Raised in Chatham, New Jersey, Greg Rinder has spent his entire life involved in the sport of ice hockey and is best known for his palpable enthusiasm, energy, and passion for teaching the game. After a successful playing career Greg began coaching in 2010 with the Jersey Penguins. During that time Greg served as the Assistant Hockey Director and was responsible for coaching winter and spring travel teams, organizing and operating summer camps and clinics and developing hockey at the grass roots level. In 2012 Greg was hired as the varsity assistant coach at his alma mater Chatham High School. Greg was also hired to simultaneously serve as the head coach for the junior varsity team. During the 2012-2013 season with Greg’s guidance the varsity team won the state championship and the junior varsity finished the season with a 22-0-1 record and won their league championship as well. After a successful high school coaching career Greg was hired by the New Jersey Colonials in 2014 and coached multiple teams throughout the organization in addition to being promoted to program director. In 2017 Greg was hired by the New Jersey Rockets as a scout and assistant coach for the USPHL Premier team. That team finished 3rd overall in the league and 20th in Tier 3 Junior. Throughout his career Greg has had a proven track record of developing, promoting and advancing players in addition to accomplishing team, organizational and individual success at all levels of hockey.

Pierre-Luc Racette, is originally from the Ottawa area and is now residing in Edmonton, Alberta. Pierre possesses a hockey background of managing, recruiting and scouting international prospects and most recently, he was a scout with the New Jersey Rockets in the USPHL NCDC. Pierre-Luc has a proven record of success in recruiting international talents with strong character.  Over the past eight years, Pierre-Luc’s accomplishments at the Junior level include: five league finals appearances, three league championships, one provincial gold medal championship in Canada and one National gold medal championship in the United States.

John helped guide William Paterson to their first Super East Championship in school history. John graduated from WPU as the all-time leading point scorer and currently ranks second all-time in points. After his playing career concluded John coached with the New Jersey Colonials and helped guide them to a State Championship. In 2012-2013 John joined the Chatham High School staff and helped guide the team to a State Championship in that same year. John currently resides in Glendale AZ.

Bruno Simard was the Head Scout for the St-Lawrence Lions of RSEQ Mens D1 Hockey in the QCHL from 2007-2011. During his time with St-Lawrence, Bruno was influential in the Lions winning three consecutive league championships. In 2012-2013 after successful career in the QCHL, Bruno joined the scouting staff of the Val-D’or Foreurs of the QMJHL. From 2013-2017 Bruno was a scout for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. Bruno currently resides in Quebec City

Mike has over 45 years of hockey experience both as a player and coach. For the last 2+ years Mike has been a head hockey coach in New Jersey, most recently at St. Peters Prep. Mike took over a program that won 4 games the previous 2 seasons and turned them into a perennial powerhouse in the State of New Jersey, guiding them through the grueling Gordon Conference, the top conference in the state. Mike grew up on Long Island, NY, and played H.S. hockey at the prestigious Portledge School, before moving on to Norwich University where we played college hockey. Mike won the NJSIAA Coach of the Year service award in 2015 and is still active in New Jersey hockey. He's currently the head coach at the N.J Avalanche where he coaches his son Ryan and daughter Julia. Mike resides in Rutherford New Jersey with his wife Karen and his 2 children.
